the end of a blogging era

It's with sadness that I announce the end of the road for the BB's! :( *sigh*

With three very busy, hectic lives, and each heading in somewhat different directions in life...and with nothing much to report (besides the engagement of Ronel!)...this can be a sleepy blog at the best of times! So if you're desperate to know the goings on of those three crazy blondes, you might actually have to come up to us and talk to us!! shock horrow, i know ;) We'll still be stopping by the other major blogs, don't you worry, you haven't quite seen the end of us just yet!
But for myself (Cath here), I look forward to many a thing..the launch of the Bourne Supremacy (which happens to be my favourite series of movies!) with Mr Jason Bourne *smile*, a possible move to the UK next year (depending what happens between now and next Christmas) a few months of physio as i was invovled in a major car accident last Friday, leaving my beloved beep beep in a crumpled pile that can't be repaired and my neck and back in absolute agony! *tear*, the wedding of 2008 of Miss Ronel & Mr Phillip!! and me keep on livin' for the Lord! testify! :P
With love,
The BB's xoxo

Dreams

I love how my God is so much bigger than my wildest dreams..
On Hillsongs new album, Saviour King, my favourite song at the moment is One Thing, written by Marty Sampson.
The chorus says:
Lord your Name is higher than the heavens. Lord your Name is higher than all created things. Higher than hope. Higher than dreams. The Name of the Lord.
I have so many dreams for my life - to move overseas next year especially is my new found dream and I dream for miracles in my life and in other people's life...when I think of my wildest dreams, I picture wild horses galloping through a field...free as a bird! nothing in my way, nothing can stop me now. Free in Jesus! - so beautiful!
...and thanks to all the people who were praying for my family after the death of my Ouma - she was sent off in a beautiful memorial service in my home-town, Joburg on Friday.

On a serious note..

Please pray

My Ouma (gran) in South Africa passed away at lunch time today. I'm not sure as of yet if i will be flying out to see her.

I have very fond memories of special times with her, she was a stubborn lady (i loved to tease her silly!), but she loved me so much.

It was expected for a while now, but it is still a shock. Please pray for healing of hurting hearts.
thanks

xoxo

Re-discovering me & God

I'm being captivated all over again - Girls, do yourself a favour and read Captivating..so good for the feminine heart

..and check out Matthew 6:30-33 in the Message...

If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are
never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his
best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so
preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't
know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and
how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions.
Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will
be met.
