Margaret River Fun

A couple of weeks ago me and my good friend Natalie went down to Margaret River for the weekend with her sis Andrea, Annie, Mal and Jason. We stayed at the Prevelly Caravan park in a cabin which was an experience! Even though we only went for a weekend it was still great just to get away from Perth and enjoy the beach and forest. Me and Nat went to some wierd forest maze which turned out to be this overgrown abandoned place out in the middle of nowhere. We didn't stay for long! On our way home Nat and I decided to stop off in Busselton to see the Jetty.

The Maze Entrance! Unfortunately the sign was the most exciting thing about the place! How sad!

Nat and I decided to go to the Colonial Brewery for lunch. It was very nice.

bumper bashin' and all that

wow, it's been a rather weird month or two on the road for me...

I was heading to work in my last week of service before I left to study, and witnessed the motorbike rider in front of me be hit directly head on and him flying off his bike and landing on the side of the road. My heart stopped. It's amazing what ones response is to shock. I started to shake, and sob a little bit as I pulled off to the side of the road. People came out to him from all directions, it was a really frightening thing to witness. I thought the rider had died. To my relief, he was moving, only slightly, and luckily it was just by RPH, so a few nurses came out and he was ok, a broken leg in total i think.

And in Fremantle the other day, I was driving along in my beep beep ;) with my mum, sitting at the lights minding my own business, when someone rear-ends me! Shock comes into play for a couple of seconds and then I realised what actually happened. Luckily I had relatively minor damage to my beloved beep beep. I do feel sorry for the girl who hit me though, as her car came out of the ordeal a little worse off. The poor thing was shaking like a leaf, I managed to calm her down..i think ;)

on a lighter note...

~~> a big congrats to Bridget and David on their engagement! wishing you both all the happiness in the world!

~~> a big Happy Birthday to Ronel today!

~~> Farewell and good luck to the best red-head around, Kym! We'll miss you like CrAzY girlfriend ;)

~~> and congrats to the Doco crew for all their hard work in finishing the Child in Charge documentary, well done. Looking forward to the premiere!

Jurien Bay Holiday

Geez our blog is really slowing down! Sorry for all those out there that are kind enough to come visit our blog, I'm sorry that us blonde bloggers are so busy that we can't post as often as we like. I have just been to Jurien Bay recently for a week with my family. It is such a great small coastal town for those who just like to relax, enjoy beautiful clear and calm beaches and a bit of fishing. Its been an annual trip for my family since we were small kids so I just thought that I would show you what a beautiful place Jurien Bay is. Its only about three hours north of Perth near Cervantes and I highly recommend the place.

This is the beach we swam at everyday. Absolutely beautiful!

My brother, sister in law and I went swimming with the seals which was an amazing experience. Jurien Bay is a hotspot for marine life and has some great snorkelling areas.
