The flour monster attacks....later we end the cook off with praise and worship Darlene Zchech style...
Grace
Grace, she takes the blame
She covers the shame
Removes the stain
It could be her name
Grace, it's the name for a girl
It's also a thought that changed the world
And when she walks on the street
You can hear the strings
Grace finds goodness in everything
Grace, she's got the walk
Not on a ramp or on chalk
She's got the time to talkShe travels outside of karma
She travels outside of karma
When she goes to work
You can hear her strings
Grace finds beauty in everything
Grace, she carries a world on her hips
No champagne flute for her lips
No twirls or skips between her fingertips
She carries a pearl in perfect condition
What once was hurt
What once was friction
What left a mark
No longer stings
Because Grace makes beauty
Out of ugly things
Grace makes beauty out of ugly things
i was supposed to be sketching...obviously got a little side-tracked :P
mmmm....junk food
Dad brought home his goodies from Jim Kid and I couldn't help but notice these amusing tags on his trackpants
This Whale was painted for Gav, for his 29th Birthday.
I spent months doing this leopard, mainly because I got bored with it, as I usually do with my paintings, but finished it to enter it into an art exhibition. I didn't win anything but it was good experience in finding out how exhibitions work.
For those that go to The View, you may have seen this horse painting up in the hall a few months ago as part of the art display. I rushed this one a bit so that it was ready for the display but I think it turned out ok.
These two gorgeous dogs belong to my boss and his parents. I drew these dogs from photos I took and used chalk pastels rather than paints, and then gave them as christmas presents.
